Verification
Every claim gets evidence, a named verifier, and a confidence you can push back on. A skeptic pass can knock that number down; only a real re-check brings it back up. The verifier works independently of the specialists it checks, and works harder when the stakes are higher.
Human governance
Anything consequential stops at a gate and waits for a person. That authority lives in the code, not in a prompt, so it cannot be talked around — an available tool is never permission to use it. But a gate that only says stop would just move the bottleneck onto you. So the gate arrives assembled.
What the request carries
Every authorization request is a briefing, not an alert. The system has already done the gathering, so the decision in front of you is the only work left.
Two ways forward
Approval is not the only useful answer. Sending something back is a first-class outcome, and the system treats it as an instruction rather than a rejection.
Proceed
The evidence holds and the blast radius is acceptable. Work resumes inside the scope you approved and nothing widens without returning here.
Send back for review
Something is thin. Name what you want tested and the request returns for deeper investigation — more evidence, a second verifier, a narrower scope — then comes back to you with the gap closed.
The point of the gate is speed with accountability. You are not reading a log to reconstruct what happened — you are reading a position the system has already argued, with its own uncertainty declared, so a decision that used to take a meeting takes a minute.
The map
The home surface is a constellation of the architecture, lit by real activity — with any failure obvious at a glance, and nothing invented to fill a gap where there is no signal.
Centers, the Self → Ecosystem progression, and the outcomes they connect to.
